YouLobby

Advocacy and the influence of government have always been in the control of those who have held either political power or who have had the financial resources to control political power. A government by the people and for the people has essentially been controlled by those who have had the means to influence. For most Americans, hiring a government affairs firm to advocate or control influence is just not practical.

When I began my career as a registered federal lobbyist, I was dismayed at both the disparity that existed in the world of government advocacy and the lack of transparency. Those who could afford the top shelf lobbying firms were the ones who had the most impact on government.

Over the course of the last decade, the adoption of new, more transparent federal lobbying laws and the advancement of information technology have leveled the playing field to some extent and has allowed for a greater ability for grass roots advocacy and transparency in the lobbying process.

YouLobby takes these advancements several steps further by:

1. Allowing individuals to come together and collectively hire a federal lobbyist to advocate for issues that concern them.

2. Providing individual citizens with the essential tools needed to participate in the federal government process.

3. Giving people the ability to communicate with politicians and officials at every level of federal government.

YouLobby takes the power of K Street and delivers it to Main Street America by empowering the individual with the tools, resources and social connections to let your voice be heard!
